The seedling
Antal Beck Forest Nursery has been engaged in the production of forestry and other (shrubs, wild fruit cuttings) propagating materials for domestic and foreign customers since 1989.
Our tree nursery is located in Borjád, adjacent to the historic Villány wine area in the southern Baranya region in Hungary. The area is 393.5 acres (181 hectares), on which we grow 45-50 million seedlings of about 80-100 species of trees annually. Propagation material is grown from seeds and cuttings.
Our company has achieved great success in the field of growing propagating material by being committed to protecting the forest, environment and the climate.
We are committed to preserving and ensuring the survival of native species of tree.
In our nursery, you can find all the species of tree native to Hungary!

The seedlings are raised in beds using the most modern soil preparing, seeding and weeding machines.
We are the first that use the soil steaming machine in Hungary, which provides us a significant reduction in the use of chemicals. 100% of our area can be irrigated, so we can provide the proper growth of seedlings even in years of drought.

A significant proportion of our sales go abroad, so we currently deliver the forest of the future to 16 countries.
The remaining part of the business turnover comes from the orders by our domestic partners, state forestry companies, businesses and private individuals. Sale is in the form of free-rooted seedlings.
We provide a certificate of origin for the propagating material, in accordance with the strict EU regulations, thereby certifying the excellent quality of the seedling.
